[Problem] The objective of the present invention is to provide: a liquid discharge head that can have a greatly reduced size in the direction of the shorter dimension while reducing crosstalk; and a recording device that uses the liquid discharge head. [Solution] The liquid discharge head (2) is provided with: a plurality of discharge holes (8); a plurality of compression chambers (10); a duct member (4) that is longer in one direction and has a manifold (5); and a plurality of compression units (30). The manifold (5) extends from one end to the other end of the duct member (4), opens to the outside at both ends of the duct member (4), and is partitioned into a plurality of sub-manifolds (5b) by a dividing wall (15) that is longer in the one direction. The compression chambers (10) connected to one sub-manifold (5b) configure two compression chamber rows (11) aligned along the sub-manifold (5b). The compression chambers (10) belonging to a compression chamber row (11) do not overlap in the one direction with the compression chambers (10) belonging to a compression chamber row (11) adjacent to the compression chamber row (11). |
