PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide proper information on parking assisting when parking and taking a vehicle into and out of a parking lot.SOLUTION: There is provided a control system 10 where each of photographed images taken by cameras 1a to 1d fixed at a plurality of locations of an own vehicle is taken, synthesized images viewed from predetermined points of a view to indicate an own vehicle and its surrounding states are generated, parking assisting information including either an own vehicle parking guide orbit or a starting to move out of the parking state is generated in response to vehicle information either when the own vehicle moves toward a desired parking position or when the own vehicle moves from the parking position to the other place, a hindrance object probably present around the own vehicle is set when the own vehicle is parked or taken into or out of the parked lot, a degree of attention against the hindrance object is calculated in response to a positional relation between the set hindrance object and the position of the own vehicle moving along the parking guide orbit or a vehicle-go-out guide orbit, either one or a plurality of hindrance objects are extracted in response to the degree of attention, and a hindrance object image including the hindrance object is selected, the synthesized image having a driving assisting information overlapped thereon and the selected hindrance object image are displayed. |
