PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a conventional air cell reduces liquid junction through an electrolyte, however cannot fully prevent the liquid junction.SOLUTION: An air cell comprises: a plurality of electrode structures 1 having filling chambers 13 of an electrolyte liquid between an air electrode 11 and a metal negative electrode 12; and liquid supplying means 3 for supplying the electrolyte liquid to the filling chamber 13. The electrode structures 1 are arranged in series in a horizontal direction, liquid injection holes 22 for the electrolyte liquid are provided on top parts of each of filling chambers 13 and the electrode structures 1 comprise convex type liquid junction preventing parts 51 defining between adjacent liquid injection holes 22. The liquid supplying means 3 comprises a storage tank 31 for the electrolyte liquid and a liquid injection device 32 for flowing out the electrolyte liquid in the storage tank 31 from top sides of liquid injection holes 22, thereby in a liquid injection type air cell C in which a plurality of electrode structures 1 are arranged in series, liquid junction between electrode structures 1 can be surely prevented. |
