PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the downsizing in a structure capable of opening a space between a liquid discharge head and a support part.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes: a lower housing 12; and an upper housing 11 which is supported by a rotation shaft 13 and may rotate relative to the lower housing 12. The upper housing 11 holds an ink jet head 2 and four sub-tanks 42. The lower housing 12 holds four cartridge attachment parts 41a to which ink cartridges 41 are respectively attached, a platen 9, and a paper tray 20. When the upper housing 11 is disposed so that the ink jet head 2 faces the platen 9, the platen 9 and the paper tray 20 are disposed in a range that overlaps with the inkjet head with respect to a main scanning direction and the ink cartridges 41 and the sub-tanks 42 are placed in a range other than the above-mentioned range. Parts of the sub-tanks 42, which protrude from the upper housing 11, are stored in a recessed region of the lower housing 12. |
