PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing the number of components.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body having an opening, a cover provided displaceably to the apparatus body to open and close the opening, and a process cartridge 50 removably attached to the apparatus body through the opening while the cover is opened. The apparatus body has a positioning unit 111 that determines a position of the process cartridge 50 relative to the apparatus body when the process cartridge 50 comes into contact with the apparatus body. The process cartridge 50 has a reinforcement rod 530 that is grounded through a body-side ground member provided to the apparatus body when attached to the apparatus body. The cover has a metallic reinforcement plate 220, and a conductive pressing unit 230 that is provided to the reinforcement plate 220, and configured to come into contact with the reinforcement rod 530 when the cover is closed so as to press the process cartridge 50 toward the positioning unit 111. |
