A front and back linked brake apparatus of a ride saddle type vehicle is provided and can allow a brake linked mechanism to be returned to an initial state easily without the need of increasing a set load of a retarded spring. The linked brake apparatus is provided with: a middle arm (22) rotating together with a brake pedal (5); a balancing arm (24) capable of swinging freely, with the lower end part of which being connected to the middle arm (22); a linked cable (26) connected to the upper end part of the balancing arm (24) and extending to a retarded spring action part used for linkage of a brake in the front; a brake rod (9) connected to the middle part in the vertical direction of the balancing arm (24) and extending to a brake at the back; and a balancing stopper (30) disposed between the middle part in the vertical direction and the upper end part of the balancing arm (24) and abutted against a side abutting wall (29) of a vehicle body. The side abutting wall (29) limits swinging of the balancing arm (24) to a side pulled by the brake rod (9). |
