The present invention relates to a method for providing a material safety data sheet regardless of location. The method includes a step of outputting the material safety data sheet including a bar code or QR code storing information on a chemical material or attaching the bar code or QR code to a chemical material container or package; a step of allowing a portable terminal to transmit a request for the material safety data sheet to a server when the portable terminal recognizes the QR code or bar code; a step of transmitting the material safety data sheet from a data base storing the material safety data sheet to the portable table terminal; and a step of allowing the portable terminal to receive the material safety data sheet and to display the same.
