PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation incident direction detector that can detect multiple radiation incident directions at a time, can be miniaturized, and does not require large-scale arithmetic processing.SOLUTION: A plurality of first converters 2A-2L, which are arranged with each directed to a different direction, convert an incident radiation 4 into characteristic X-rays 5 each having different energy. The characteristic X-ray 5 is detected, a sequence of a wave height pulse signal proportional to the energy is generated, and wave height distribution of the pulse signal is generated. By use of the directions to which the first converters 2A-2L are directed and the wave height distribution, an incident direction of the radiation 4 is determined. |
