A spring mechanism for an electromagnetic drive unit converts or translates the movement and/or actuation of an electromagnet into a desired movement of a workpiece and enables the simple and efficient tuning of the workpiece movement. The spring mechanism comprises: a housing; a spring which is connected to the housing and of which at least two sections are movable to the housing; a drive shaft which has a first end having a magnet and a second end for attachment to the workpiece; and at least two tuning elements which connect the drive shaft to the movable part of the spring, wherein the tuning elements are adjustable. The spring may be a flat spring, and each movable section thereof can be positioned between a pair of cutout parts formed in the spring. |
