According to the present invention, provided is a gun barrel cleaning apparatus to clean the inside of a gun barrel (10). The gun barrel cleaning apparatus includes: a body part (110) wherein an entrance hole (111) is formed at a front and a rotary roll (112) is installed to allow rotation inside; a motor (120) providing driving force required for the rotary roll (112) to rotate in accordance with a control signal while being axially connected to the rotary roll (112); a cable chain (130) which has a multi-joint structure that a number of links (131) are connected continuously, and moves forward and backward in accordance with rotation of the rotary roll (112) while one end thereof is fixed and wound around the rotary roll (112) and the other end is exposed to the outside through the entrance hole (111); a cleaning module (140) which is connected to the other end of the cable chain (130), and has more than one cleaning patch (141) or a brush (142) installed on the circumference thereof; and a control part (150) outputting a control signal to control the motor (120) in accordance with a manipulation signal of a manipulation part (151). The gun barrel cleaning apparatus can reduce a workers workload and fatigue sharply by being able to move the cleaning module forward and backward using the driving force of the motor, and can increase power transfer efficiency and can achieve compactness of the apparatus using the cable chain having flexibility and straightness as a power delivery unit.
