PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat slide device for a vehicle, which can maintain the state of locking movement by a lock member, by a simpler structure, when a pair of right and left rails is relatively twisted in association with input of a major load.SOLUTION: A lock lever 30 selectively locks relative displacement of lower and upper rails 3 and 4 by making a locking hole and a locking pawl 13b of a lock plate 39 fitted to/disengaged from each other in association with rotation. An inclined part 14e, which imparts a negative angle to a part of contact with the lock plate 39 when a load applied in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle exceeds a predetermined value, is formed in an inside opening 14a. |
