PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology on a magnetic reading device and a bill handling device.SOLUTION: A magnetic reading device for reading magnetic information of a bill includes: a magnetic reading part which reads magnetic information of a bill by detecting magnetic field strength; and a magnetic field applying part which applies a magnetic field to the magnetic reading part, and which can change at least either a direction or strength of the magnetic field to be applied. |
