A refrigerator of the present invention includes: a cabinet with an internal storing chamber; a main door mounted in the cabinet to be able to rotate, opening and closing the storing chamber, and having an opening therein; a sub storing chamber mounted in a rear side of the main door; a sub door mounted in the main door to be able to rotate and opening and closing the opening to approach the sub storing chamber; a support with a rotary shaft mounted in a lower side of the opening of the main door to be able to rotate; a case mounted in a groove formed in the main door; a slider mounted inside the case to slide in a longitudinal direction, having a rack on the underside, and selectively moved backward by the sub door; and a rotary gear mounted inside the case, having a pinion rotated by interlocking with the rack of the slider on a circumferential surface, connected to the rotary shaft of the support. When the sub door is closed, the support rotates to be vertical. When the sub door is opened, the support rotates to be horizontal. |
