PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic fiber having superior elastic recovery properties, stress-distortion characteristics having high flexibility and the like.SOLUTION: This method for producing the elastic fiber comprises: preparing an elastic resin which includes a hard segment comprising (a) aromatic dicarboxylic acid and (b) an alkylene glycol unit, and a soft segment comprising (a) an aromatic dicarboxylic acid unit and (c) a polyalkylene ether glycol unit, and in which a weight ratio of a long-chain diol component of the soft segment is 50% or more; and melt-spinning the elastic resin at a spinning speed of 2,000-10,000 m/min. |
