PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture fine particles with narrow particle size distribution by reducing smudge on a discharge surface that causes the coalescence and breakup of discharged droplets.SOLUTION: A toner manufacturing apparatus manufactures toner particles by continuing a discharging operation to discharge droplets 21 of a toner component liquid 14 from a plurality of discharge holes 19 that open on the discharge surface of a liquid column resonance droplet formation unit 10, and solidifying the discharged droplets, wherein a liquid-repellent film 42 whose contact angle to the toner component liquid is 40° or more is formed in at least a surface part near the discharge holes on the discharge surface. |
