To commence an adjustment process, one pressure chamber is connected to the pressurised medium pump(16) before the other chamber is connected to the reservoir(17). The control flow passage of the connection of one pressure chamber to the reservoir during the adjustment process is constantly smaller than the opening flow passage of the connection of the other pressure chamber to the pump. The respective control flow passages of the two connections are controlled by a common valve component in the control valve(13).
