摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus for preparing a highly insulating and flame-retardant polystyrene foam and, more specifically, to an apparatus for preparing a highly insulating and flame-retardant polystyrene foam, comprising: a coating and transferring simultaneous apparatus for simultaneously coating and transferring a highly insulating or flame-retardant powder on a surface of the external circumference of a foam particle shaped polystyrene foam; an agitation apparatus for uniformly coating a highly insulating or flame-retardant powder on the surface of the polystyrene foam; a highly insulating and flame-retardant polystyrene foam preparation apparatus, sequentially composed of the coating and transferring simultaneous apparatus; an input unit for, after a polystyrene raw material is previously foamed in a foam particle shape, putting the foam particle shaped polystyrene foam to an inlet side of the coating and transferring simultaneous apparatus; and an impregnation unit for, after the highly insulating or flame-retardant powder is impregnated with an adhesive liquid, putting the impregnated powder to the inlet side of the coating and transferring simultaneous apparatus. In the conventional art, a transferring apparatus and a coating apparatus are separately formed, causing the complication of the work and the increase in production costs. In order to solve these problems, the present invention provides an apparatus for simultaneously performing transferring and coating, and further provides an apparatus for coating a highly insulating or flame-retardant powder on a surface of the foam particles, thereby providing an apparatus for preparing highly insulating and flame-retardant polystyrene foam. In order to prepare a highly insulating and flame-retardant polystyrene foam, a highly insulating material or a flame-retardant material is uniformly coated on a surface of foamed beads, and this work process is simplified, and thus a highly insulating and flame-retardant polystyrene foam can be obtained.
