PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power management system capable of promoting reduction in power consumption in relation to each of a plurality of participants in a community.SOLUTION: A power management system 1 comprises: a holding part 217 for holding a participant list 25 related to a community including a plurality of participants registered in advance; a determination part 211 for determining necessity of executing power reduction control; a selection part 213 for selecting one or more target persons who are targets of the power reduction control from the plurality of participants included in the participant list 25, when the determination part 211 determines that the execution of the power reduction control is necessary; a control part 214 for executing the power reduction control in relation to the target persons selected by the selection part 213; and a giving part 216 for giving privileges on the basis of power reduction to the target persons over whom the power reduction control has been executed. |
