A method for controlling a hoist system, wherein, when the conveyance moves downward to the supporting device and then is supported by the supporting device, hosting force of the hoisting motor is adjusted to a predetermined value. It is also provides a hoist system which comprises a hoisting motor for hoisting a conveyance, and a supporting device for supporting the conveyance when the conveyance reaches a predetermined position, for carrying out the above method. The provided method above and the hoist system enable the controlling system and supporting device to cooperate with each other, and the motor torque be adjusted automatically, so that the operation efficiency of the hoist system and the life of the rope are improved and the safety in the hoisting process is ensured. |
