PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive detergent for metals having high dissolubility to organic compounds, high dispersibility to inorganic materials, high volatility and high flash point, low toxicity and low odor.SOLUTION: A detergent for metals contains dimethyl carbonate and diethyl carbonate. The detergent for metals preferably has a content of dimethyl carbonate of 5 to 30 wt.% and the content of diethyl carbonate of 70 to 95 wt.%. The detergent for metals more preferably has a content of dimethyl carbonate of 10 to 15 wt.% and the content of diethyl carbonate of 85 to 90 wt.%. |
