PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber/cellulose master batch the cellulose fiber of which is fibrillated satisfactorily and restrained from being agglomerated so that the rubber/cellulose master batch can exhibit an excellent reinforcing effect.SOLUTION: A rubber/cellulose master batch is obtained by applying mechanical shearing force to an aqueous suspension containing the cellulose fiber and an inorganic filler (for example, silica and carbon black) to fibrillate the cellulose fiber, mixing the obtained aqueous suspension with rubber latex and drying an obtained liquid mixture. The obtained rubber/cellulose master batch is blended in a rubber composition. |
