PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin which exactly prevents the damage of an optical fiber at delivery, transportation or the like, and the generation of pressing pressure caused by an external force while making the optical fiber not exposed even in the vicinity of a slit, and also prevents the fall-in of the optical fiber into a clearance between a winding layer and a flange plate resulting from the warped deformation of the flange plate in the vicinity of the slit when gripping the bobbin by fingers.SOLUTION: In a main flange part 14A, a wall part 58 covering an outside face side of a slit in a bobbin 10 with an optical fiber winding cover in which a bobbin main body 10 formed with the slit 17 for guiding the optical finer to a main winding flank part 12 and a protection cover 50 on an external periphery of the main winding flank part are combined with each other is arranged at the protection cover, the optical fiber having a possibility of exposure in the vicinity of the slit is thereby covered and protected, and simultaneously, the vicinity of the slit of a flange part is reinforced by the wall part. Furthermore, the vicinity of the slit is made to be hardly gripped when gripping the bobbin by fingers. |
