PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a pressure release valve appropriately depending on the handling state of a power storage device.SOLUTION: A first pressure release valve 24 and a second pressure release valve 25, having different opening pressures, are provided in the case 11 of a secondary battery 10. The first pressure release valve 24 is arranged on the long side wall 14b of the case body 14, and the second pressure release valve 25 is arranged on a lid 16. Opening pressure of the first pressure release valve 24 is set lower than the opening pressure of the second pressure release valve 25. When the secondary battery 10 is handled as a single unit, pressure in the case 11 is released with low pressure by operating the first pressure release valve 24. When it is handled as a module, operation of the second pressure release valve 25 is allowed by closing the first pressure release valve 24, thereby regulating the operation, thus operating with a higher pressure compared with the case where the secondary battery 10 is handled as a single unit. |
