[Class 70] Aqueous dispersions of natural or synthetic rubber which contain stabilizers of the formula R-SO 3 -M, where R represents an organic radicle containing at least one group having more than 8 carbon atoms and M represents an alkali metal, hydrogen or an ammonium radicle, are rendered sensitive to coagulation by acid by addition of a polyamine such as ethylene, propylene, p-phenylene, m-phenylene, m-toluene or diethylene diamine, diethylene triamine or triethylene tetramine. In forming articles by dipping, spraying or spreading, the polyamine may be added either to the latex or to the coagulant. Numerous examples of stabilizers falling within the formula are given.
