Retaining device for an implant

The device (34) has a connecting device for detachably connecting the retaining device with an implant (42). Another connecting device is provided for detachably connecting the retaining device with a bearing unit (2). The two connecting devices are operated independent of each other. The former connecting device is designed in such a manner that extraction force is necessary for transferring the connecting device from a connecting position to a release position. An independent claim is also included for a bearing unit for accommodating and fixing the retaining device.
