The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a curved display using a flat display module. The method for manufacturing a curved display using a flat display module according to the present invention may include the steps of: masking portions of upper and lower substrates of a display module by using a masking member; etching the display module except for the masked portions of the display module such that the thickness of the display module is reduced to a preset thickness; removing the masking member from the display module after the etching step; bending the display module into a curved shape; fixing the curved display module to a cover the side surface of which is divided into a plurality of linear portions.
