PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging device made of a corrugated fiberboard, which packages a heavy article placed on a pedestal with the article's head covered with an outer package and allows work of removing the heavy article from the packaging device to be carried out by fewer persons.SOLUTION: A pedestal 10a making up a packaging device can be divided into two half parts in the right/left or front-to-rear direction. One side of a heavy article 20 placed on the pedestal 10a divided into two half parts is lifted, and after one half part of the pedestal 10a is removed, is put down. Then, the other side of the heavy article 20 is lifted, and after the other half part of the pedestal 10a is removed, is put down. In this manner, the heavy article 20 is unloaded from the pedestal 10a. |
