PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbing material in which a liquid to be treated is dispersed/fluidized uniformly to adsorb a specific metal, that is contained in the liquid to be treated, in an adsorption layer of the adsorbing material so that the adsorption efficiency of the adsorbing material is improved.SOLUTION: The adsorbing material includes a laminate having: a plurality of the adsorption layers (1) each of which includes a metal-adsorbable fiber for adsorbing the specific metal contained in the liquid to be treated; and a plurality of binder layers (2) each of which includes a thermoplastic fiber that is disposed between the adjacent adsorption layers (1) and used for connecting the adjacent adsorption layers (1) to each other. A plurality of penetration holes (17), each of which penetrates the adsorption layer (1) and the binder layer (2), are formed in the lamination direction of the laminate and the liquid to be treated is introduced into the laminate from the direction perpendicular to the lamination direction of the laminate and fluidized through the penetration holes (17) to improve the adsorption efficiency thereof. |
