The unit has an electric motor (2) fixed at a plastic housing (20), and units for removing heat from the electric motor. Each unit is formed by a pot-shaped cooling body (26) i.e. deep-drawn part. An open end (28) of the cooling body is molded by the plastic housing. The cooling body lies at an axial end (34) of an external housing (4) of the electric motor, where the axial end is opposite to an output shaft (6). The external housing of the electric motor is enclosed around a circumference by the cooling body in an area (24) remote from the output shaft. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a drive unit for components of an internal combustion engine. |
