A method for controlling the temperature inside a cavity of a refrigerator or freezer is provided for appliances having a temperature sensor inside said cavity and means for setting a target temperature (Ts) inside the cavity. The method comprises detecting a second temperature (Tevap,Tamb,T2) in a zone different from the one where the first temperature sensor is placed, computing a third temperature (Tc) starting from the first and second temperatures, such computation being based on empirical values determined from the actual thermal behaviour of the cavity, and feeding such third temperature to a control system of the cooling appliance to which a target temperature set by the user is fed as well. <IMAGE> |
