PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to highly precisely acquire a reference image analogous to a query image.SOLUTION: A local feature quantity extraction unit 20 produces plural conversion images by performing plural conversions, which include turning or changing of a magnification rate, on a query image, and extracts a local feature quantity and geometric feature from each of the query image and conversion images. A centroid acquisition unit 28 acquires a centroid associated with the local feature quantity of the query image. A voting unit 30 calculates a ratio of the geometric feature to a reference image, which is stored in an index storage unit 26 in association with the acquired centroid, or a difference of the geometric feature from the reference image, and drops a vote to a ballot box associated with the ratio of the geometric feature to the reference image or the difference of the geometric feature from the reference image. A score unit 32 calculates a score that represents a degree of similarity between the query image and reference image on the basis of a result of voting. An analogous image output unit 34 outputs the reference image analogous to the query image on the basis of the score.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
