Wall penetration part (1) for insulating a penetration of a fire damper (6), which wall penetration part essentially fills the gap between a fire damper and a wall (7). The invention is implemented such that the wall penetration part (1) comprises a metallic duct part (2), a non-combustible insulation layer surrounding it, and a non-combustible fabric material on top of it, and in that for at least a part of the length of the wall penetration part (1) a layer of a material that expands under the influence of heat is installed between the duct part and the fabric material. |
