[Class 17 (iii)] A moulded heel pad comprises a front part 1 and a rear part 2 integrally joined together along a cleavage portion 3 so that the rear part may be readily detached when worn, this rear part being symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal centre line of the pad and being secured by a screw 11 engaging a pressure distributing plate 12. Other holes may be provided in the plate 12 to provide alternate fixing positions. The front part is secured by nails or screws inserted through bosses 8.</p> |
