An encoding device using an image and a decoding device thereof are disclosed. The encoding device selects a coordinate system for encoding a parameter and generates information with respect to the parameter encoded by using the selected coordinate system. The generated information with respect to the parameter can be stored in an image. A decoding device can read the information with respect to the parameter stored in the image and decode a value of the parameter from the information with respect to the parameter by referring to information with respect to the coordinate system. |
