The present invention relates to a distance measurement apparatus having an aiming guide function for golf and a guiding method using the same, and more particularly, to a distance measurement apparatus capable of correctly guiding distance information and an aiming direction to a target position. The apparatus comprises: a database unit including data for whole golf course area, data for teeing ground position, and data of a target position; a distance measurement unit measuring a distance from a target position to a global positioning system (GPS) antenna built therein; a posture sensing unit setting the direction of the target position and guiding an aiming direction based on the set direction of the target position; a display unit displaying a distance measurement result of the distance measurement unit and the aiming direction of the posture sensing unit; and a speaker outputting information displayed on the display unit by speech or sound. |
