A method for estimating a gender of a human based on morphometric characteristics of a radial tuberosity comprises the following steps: a computer device determines an area of a radial tuberosity in a source image or a radial sample; the computer device extracts morphometric characteristics of the area of the radial tuberosity in the area of the radial tuberosity; and the computer device estimates a gender on a target having the radial tuberosity based on the morphometric characteristics.
