PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing drive unit which allows an opening/closing body to be reliably stopped at an arbitrary position without reducing durability of a clutch.SOLUTION: An opening/closing drive unit comprises a motor, a rod member having a male screw on the external surface, a clutch which transfers the torque of the motor to the rod member or interrupts the torque transfer, a nut member which is screwed to the rod member and is linearly moved by the rotation of the rod member, a connection member which opens/closes an opening/closing body by the linear movement of the nut member, and rotation regulating means which regulates the rotation of the rod member. The rotation regulating means includes an engaging member movable between an engaging position and a disengaging position, and an engaged part which is arranged at the rod member so as to be engaged with the engaging member for the regulation of the rotation of the rod member. |
