摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for abrasive grinding of a plastic machining tool capable of abrading and grinding that tool on the basis of the machining condition set up based on the optimal abrasive grains selected for the tool.SOLUTION: There is provided an abrasive grinding method for a plastic machining tool 3 according to an abrasive grinding system 1. The method includes: measuring the surface roughness (R) of the plastic machining tool 3 when abrading or grinding the surface 4 of the tool 3 to obtain the roughness ratio (dR=R/R) being the ratio of a target roughness (R) of the tool 3 to the surface roughness (R); selecting a processing tool 2 provided with the abrasive grains having a grain size corresponding to 1/10 of the surface roughness (R) when the roughness ratio (dR) is 1/10 or less, and selecting the tool 2 provided with the grains having the grain size corresponding to the target roughness (R) when (dR) is more than 1/10; and abrading or grinding the surface 4 of the tool 3 after setting the processing condition regarding the selected processing tool 2.
