PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device in which a liquid injection hole can be sealed after degassing, while allowing degassing from the liquid injection hole, and to provide a method of manufacturing the power storage device.SOLUTION: A secondary battery 10 has a liquid injection hole 14c of electrolyte 18 in a lid member 14 of a case 11, and has a sealing member 20 of the liquid injection hole 14c. The liquid injection hole 14c is a screw hole. The sealing member 20 includes a bottomed cylindrical trunk 21, and a flange 23 at one end of the trunk 21 in the axial direction. A sealing member 20 has a male screw 21a screwing to the liquid injection hole 14c in the outer peripheral surface of the trunk 21. In the trunk 21, a caulking portion 24 is formed at a part located in the case 11 by increasing the diameter of the trunk 21 from the inside, and the sealing member 20 is fastened to the lid member 14 by the flange 23 and the caulking portion 24. |
