PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress interference between a member of a housing side and a pair of walls provided at a tray when the tray is closed in an image reading device.SOLUTION: A pair of walls 53A of a pair of wall parts 53 is disposed at each of width direction both sides of a separation mechanism 16 protruded backward from a rear end surface 11A of an upper housing 11 and a first protrusion part 54A even when the pair of wall parts 53 comes closest to each other. Accordingly, the wall part 53 does not interfere with the separation mechanism 16 when a first tray 50 is swung toward the housing 10 to be closed, so that the first tray 50 can be closed satisfactorily. |
