PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform fault diagnosis for a control relay 1, which electrically connects and disconnects between a power supply 3 and electrical components (an inverter 5 and a normal charger 21) connected to the power supply 3, at appropriate timings in accordance with severity at fault occurrence.SOLUTION: About a type of fault stored in a severity storage part 31b as a fault with large severity at fault occurrence, a fault diagnosis part 31a performs fault diagnosis at timings of electrical connection or disconnection between a power supply 3 and electrical components together with operations for an ignition switch 32 by a driver of a vehicle. On the other hand, about an another type of fault stored as a fault with little severity at fault occurrence, the fault diagnosis part 31a performs fault diagnosis at timings of the predetermined electrical connection or disconnection without operations for the ignition switch 32 by the driver. |
