A valve rod assembly for a solenoid valve has a plug-type seal member 13 whose inner wall is formed with two annular grooves 131. Two corresponding annular protrusions 1141 are formed on a rod core 11 of the rod assembly for engagement with the two annular grooves 131. This construction aids manual assembly of the plug-type seal member 13 with the rod core 11, without involving any mould injection processes. Moreover, the plug-type seal member 13 may be manually removed from the rod core 11 so that users may replace a worn plug-type seal member 13 with a new one. |
