A power supply has a circuit board for arranging and connecting components with a structure which has a narrow width and a limited height of a mounting component. The power supply comprises: an input capacitor; a transformer; an output rectifying diode; a first smoothing capacitor; a Y capacitor; and the circuit board, thereby reducing EMI by reducing a noise potential difference between an electrically grounded terminal of the input capacitor and an electrically grounded terminal of the first smoothing capacitor by the Y capacitor. |
