The method involves transmitting user data between two xDSL transmission devices (100-1-100-4) via xDSL transmission link according to protocol stack. An access to embedded operation channel inside transmission device is provided, so that user data of xDSL data transmission frame (200) are transmitted within the channel. An access to transmission device is inhibited based on read-out management data of embedded operation channel for operation of redundant ring structure, while access to xDSL transmission path with respect to management data of embedded operation channel is enabled. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) xDSL data transmission device for transferring data within xDSL data transmission system; and (2) xDSL data transmission system. |
