The present invention relates to a wireless meter reading system using a PDA terminal, and more specifically, to a meter reading control process of a PDA terminal of a meterman and a meter reading terminal installed in each customer and a method for transmitting read data from the meter reading terminal to the PDA terminal. The present invention provides a wireless meter reading system with a multi metering function, which is capable of reducing a wireless meter reading time by sequentially requesting meter reading preparation times with respect to meter reading terminals in a region within a predetermined distance from a current PDA terminal means, allowing an operation mode to be changed into a pre-operation mode before meter reading, and allowing a read data request and read data transmission in response to the read data request to be performed with respect to each of the meter reading terminals. In addition, the present invention provides a wireless meter reading system with a multi-data transmission function, which is capable of reducing a read data transmission time of a meter reading terminal and reducing a read value inquiry time by agglomerating the number of pieces of data to be transmitted in a set unit and transmitting the gathered pieces of data when read data is transmitted to a PDA terminal in response to a read data request for a read value inquiry for each period. |
