摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new organic semiconductor material comprising a compound containing azulene as a narrow band gap material which has a long wavelength absorption property and provides high charge mobility in a small molecule system, and also provide an organic electronic device comprising the new organic semiconductor material.SOLUTION: An organic semiconductor material is used which comprises a compound represented by the specified general formula (1) having azulene. (In the formula (1), substituents Rto Rare each independently one of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a fluoroalkyl group, an alkoxy group, an ester group, and a nitrile group. Ar is one of a bithiophene ring, a thieno[3,2-b]thiophene ring, a 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole ring, a benzo[1,2-c:4,5-c']bis([1,2,5])thiadiazole ring, and an azulene ring.)
