PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a lubricant flowing into a fluid chamber while suppressing degradation of operation efficiency, in a rotary expander in which a plurality of rotary mechanism portions are connected in series.SOLUTION: An expansion mechanism (31) of an expander (30) includes two rotary mechanism portions (70, 80) respectively composed of rotary fluid machines. In the expanding mechanism (31), only a second rotary mechanism portion (80) having a displacement volume larger than that of the first rotary mechanism portion (70) is provided with a seal ring (45). The seal ring (45) is fitted to a recessed groove (50) formed on an upper end face (85a) of a second piston (85), and seals a clearance gap between the second piston (85) and an intermediate plate (63). |
