PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dephosphorization agent for achieving both slopping suppression and short-time dephosphorization treatment.SOLUTION: A dephosphorization refining agent for molten iron includes 10-20 mass% of soda ash with the balance being iron oxides. The agent is a briquette with a volume density of 1400 kg/mor more and less than 2700 kg/m, and a particle diameter of 10 mm or more and less than 60 mm. |
