The present specification relates to a method and apparatus for automatically recharging an electronic payment means. A method for automatically recharging an electronic payment means with a predetermined amount of money according to an embodiment of the present specification may comprise the steps of: receiving a payment request attributable to purchase of a product by a user from a market server; determining whether the amount of money to be paid in response to the payment request can be paid by an electronic payment means; and recharging the electronic payment means with a predetermined amount of money when it is determined that the amount of money to be paid cannot be paid by the electronic payment means as a result of the determination. According to embodiments of the present specification, provided may be a method and apparatus for an electronic payment means, which can automatically recharge an electronic payment means with an amount of money up to the predetermined amount of money when a user makes payment by using the electronic payment means, such as a gift certificate, in an online market. |
