A charging device for a vehicle according to an embodiment relates to a charging device for a vehicle which is connected between an external power source and the vehicle, to supply power for charging the vehicle. The charging device includes a detection part for detecting whether a current to be supplied to the vehicle is in a normal range, a relay part which selectively blocks the supply of the current passing the detection part to the vehicle, a bypass part which is connected in parallel to the relay part and selectively forms a bypass circuit with regard to the current passing through the detection part, and a control part which controls the operation of the relay part and the bypass part, according to the current value measured through the detection part. So, the relay circuit of the recharging device can be protected. |
